A heritage heating solutions provider in the UK is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to drive sales by establishing new distribution routes and managing key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and business development, with excellent analytical and communication skills. The objective of the role is to drive sales by establishing new distribution routes, specifically targeting online ASHP and boiler distribution outlets, working with legislation changes and creating competitive advantage for future growth. The Strategic Account Manager will investigate, source, and build new accounts to work closely with the accounts once open to gain insight into the customers' growth plans on relevant products to ensure the BUK business is aligned with said growth.
The role will consist of account management of the new customer accounts, identifying full year forecasts, forecasting accuracy, and working closely with the production team in the planning of the customer requirements for new and recently opened accounts.
A close working relationship across multiple disciplines within the business is paramount, and as such, a large proportion of the account manager's role will focus on working with NDP, quality, production, logistics, and finance.
