Sales Lead, International - Real Time Awareness (RTA)

Reporting to : Regional Director, Australia & New Zealand

As RTA lead in the ANZ region, you will be tasked with driving sales and adoption of Axon’s Real Time Awareness portfolio. The objective is to become the technology provider for Public Safety across the region to help our customers protect life and truth. To accomplish this objective, you will be responsible for working with Regional Managers and other members of our Sales teams across Europe and the Globe to support these efforts. Axon is seeking professionals that can work at the strategic and tactical level to drive industry adoption through persistence and execution.

To be successful in this role you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Sales Lead should also be very competitive and a good listener.

What You’ll Do

  • Build out the business strategy for RTA in ANZ, including direct and channel sales motions, territory planning & alignment, pricing strategies and market awareness.
  • Represent the company and its product at physical meets and end user demonstrations.
  • Act as single point of contact for our end users, channel partners (distribution and resell) and internal team members on everything RTA.
  • Responsible for responding to commercial requests and maintaining the highest standards of CRM hygiene (pipeline management, reporting, forecasting etc).
  • Collect end user feedback, structure it and maintain records. Exchange with the R&D department over improvements and new product developments.
  • Participate in manual testing efforts and help with the creation of end user manuals and ‘how-to’ videos.
  • Be the face of Axon’s RTA portfolio.

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling complex, strategic multi-year agreements (selling to office of IT a plus).
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to talk appropriately to crowds of police and military.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to set up and document an efficient commercial flow.
  • Strong interest in public safety and high tech products.
  • Positivity, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, autonomous working, customer-orientation and adaptability.
  • Rigor and precision in the execution of all tasks related to commercial flow. Holding customer satisfaction and service as highest priority.
  • Capability to work with agility, under pressure, with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
  • Proactive thinking and open-minded discussions with all the stakeholders of the project.
  • Not being afraid to be out of the comfort zone, and be ready to learn new technologies.
