Job summary

Zayo Europe is seeking an Account Director to drive revenue growth and build enduring relationships with data centre operators and managed service providers. You will use direct sales, channel partnerships, and collaborative selling to maximise market penetration.

The role requires strategic account planning, strong negotiation, and the ability to coordinate with marketing, product, and engineering teams. Hybrid working and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development in data centres.
• Strong understanding of the data centre ecosystem, technologies, trends and key players.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, partners and internal teams; strategic thinker.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: identify high-potential data centre operators and new builds.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans; win capital investment for projects.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet targets.
• Cultivate and manage resale relationships with partners and drive additional services.
• Coordinate with partners and technology providers; enable joint selling efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre stakeholders.
• Track performance, provide market insights, and influence product roadmaps.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular sales reports.
