Job description

Job Title: StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry
Grade: StR Lower
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client based in Manchester, Greater Manchester. This is a Community Mental Health (CMHT) role available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
  2. Evaluating adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms.
  3. Formulating individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
  4. Regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
  5. Contributing to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of those in your care.

This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • You must have a full GMC license to practice.
  • Relevant previous experience working in this type of position.
