Job summary

National Composites Centre is seeking a proactive Stores Warehouse Operative (12 month FTC) in Emerson’s Green, Bristol. The role involves unloading, stock control, dispatch, and daily van travels to NCC sites. A Forklift B1 licence and full driving licence are essential, with on-site duties and a salary of £26,500–£30,610 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, ideally in manufacturing or logistics stores.
• Forklift Licence B1 minimum.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Organised, methodical and able to work without supervision.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and allocate warehouse space.
• Coordinate forklift movements and store goods safely.
• Maintain stock control and replenish consumables.
• Prepare dispatch of outgoing goods with paperwork.
• Support logistics, including courier arrangements and van driving.
• Carry out 5S activities to keep stores tidy and compliant.
• Travel to other NCC sites daily to transfer materials.
