Job description

We are looking for a Stores Supervisor to join our team who can assist in the running of the Stores Department.

Established in 1994, Dunster House Ltd is a growing family run, international business currently employing over 500 people across our 14 UK sites.

With over 30 years of designing, manufacturing and retailing garden lifestyle products we are proud to be garden building specialists and distribute our products on our own fleet of vehicles to our customers.

This job is based out of our Stockton on Tees, Dudley Road (TS19 9PB)

Job includes:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7.30 - 18.00 hours
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
  • Overseeing the planned maintenance of Forklifts, machinery and equipment
  • Organising and managing stores staff, allocating work to staff to ensure vehicles are loaded
  • Rotation of Stock and Stock Checking
  • Safety and Security Risk assessments for the stores area
  • Training and Development of staff as necessary including training records every 6 months
  • Ensuring vehicles are loaded with the correct stock and within the weights allowed
  • Ensure goods are being received and leaving the warehouse correctly (quantity and quality)
  • Ensure picking and loading on quantity and quality
  • Update the KPI’s
  • Checking all transfers to each branch in order to make sure right quantity of goods are loaded and the goods are secured safely on the back of the lorry by driver.
  • Pre- shift checks are done on daily basis and Warehouse racks are checked every week.

Pay rates:

  • £13.00 p/h
