A manufacturing company in Kirkintilloch is seeking a Stores Supervisor to lead their Main Stores Department. Qualifications

  • Must have previous stores experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven team leadership or supervisory experience is essential.
  • Ability to use ERP systems and general PC applications confidently.
  • Must understand BOMs and production kitting processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with a hands-on approach.
  • A Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) licence is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and motivate the team to ensure daily KPIs and work schedules are achieved.
  • Receive stock from internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Pick and kit jobs to support the manufacturing departments.
  • Maintain full material traceability and stock location accuracy.
  • Ensure daily and annual stock checks are completed on time.
  • Provide daily performance updates and reports.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy and organised Stores area in line with H&S standards.
Experience and Skills
  • Previous stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Confident using ERP systems and general PC applications.
  • Understanding of BOMs and production kitting processes.
  • Hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
  • Forklift Truck (Counterbalance) licence required.
Benefits
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm.
