DCS Recruitment Limited is seeking a Storesperson for its Blackbushe facility in Hampshire. The role covers receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of stock, with close collaboration with production to ensure parts are available and delivered safely and on time.

The position requires practical stores or warehouse experience, a current UK driving licence, good IT skills, and careful, accurate handling of parts.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent qualification.
• Current full UK driving licence.
• Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
• Strong attention to detail when counting, weighing, checking and labelling parts.
• An understanding of safe manual handling practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• The ability to follow instructions accurately and work on your own initiative.
• A positive, flexible approach and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Picking component kits and shortage items for production.
• Picking parts for sales orders and internal stock requisitions.
• Delivering and collecting parts between departments.
• Packing and preparing parts for dispatch.
• Completing basic mechanical checks, including quantities and dimensions.
• Using stock control systems to record stock movements.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised stores area.
• Following health and safety, manual handling and COSHH procedures.
