Job summary

Eyre & Elliston in London is seeking a Stores Person & Van Driver to join a small team in a fast-paced electrical wholesale operation. You will handle deliveries, stock control and daily van duties.

This permanent full-time role offers standard office hours (Mon–Fri, 07:30–17:00), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and training support. Based at Eyre & Elliston, Kelvin Road, Highbury, Greater London.

• Organise incoming goods and check deliveries.

Job description

We have a vacancy for a Stores Person & Van Driver. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work within a small team in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideally suited to candidates with experience within a warehouse or van driver background.

Who we are:

Established in 1934 and operating from 60 locations throughout the country, servicing a wide spectrum of customer types, we have over 90 years’ experience in the electrical wholesale sector.

The Role:

• Standard office hours of Monday to Friday starting at 07:30am and finishing at 17:00pm.
• Organising incoming goods, checking deliveries.
• Loading the van for the day's deliveries.
• Unloading upon return to branch.
• Accurately picking orders.
• Delivering goods to customers office’s, building sites and domestic locations (when required)
• Delivering stock to multiple local drops.
• Putting stock away whilst maintaining good stock rotation.
• Work as part of a team across all aspects of the business to meet branch targets.
