Job description

Job Purpose

The role of the Stores Person is to:

  • Sort parts, ready for driver delivery.
Department/Business/Location:

Parts / Crawley JLR

Reports To:

Parts Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, identify, locate, and stock parts in the storeroom.
  • Pick, pack, and ship parts orders to customers.
  • Deliver parts to technicians when required.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties including scrap and warranty returns.
  • Assist with deliveries of parts to customers.
  • Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
  • Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Experience, Skills & Requirements
  • Understanding of basic vehicle design, function, and location of parts.
  • Attention to detail and maintaining good, accurate quality of work.
  • Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
  • Ability to plan, organize self, and meet work deadlines.
  • Energy and enthusiasm.
  • Smart appearance.
  • Full UK driving license.
Working Hours

Tuesday - Friday, 6am - 10am
