We are seeking an organized and proactive Stores Person to join our Alfreton Aircrete factory.In this role, you will manage the inventory of technical parts and equipment, ensuring our operations and engineering teams have the right materials at the right time.You will leverage your SAP expertise and engineering background to control costs and drive operational efficiency in our stores.If you have a passion for inventory management, strong supplier engagement skills, and a continuous improvement mindset, we want to hear from you!
Main responsibilities:
As the successful Stores Person you will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for Inventory Management for the Alfreton site, this includes maintaining and organising stock of technical parts, tools, and equipment using SAP (or SAP Maintenance systems), ensuring accurate stock records and prompt availability of critical items.

The ideal candidate:
The idealStores Personwill have hands-on experience with SAP or SAP Maintenance modules (or similar inventory management systems) for tracking inventory and managing work orders.

The role is based at our Blocks site in Alfreton, Derbyshire.The site is easily accessible from Nottingham, Derby, Somercotes, Ripley, South Wingfield, Stonebroom, Sutton-In-Ashfield, Underwood, South Normanton, Matlock, Mansfield, Hucknall and the surrounding areas.
