Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is seeking a Stores Operator (Rotating Shifts) based at Aflex - UK. The role requires warehouse know-how, forklift operations, and a proactive, team-focused attitude to maintain stock and support assembly and export activities.

You will handle picking/packing, stock checks, and ensure safety and quality across the Stores department, while adhering to company policies and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/stores operations and good communication skills.
• Experience with stock control and goods-in processes.
• Driving licence and forklift experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and report issues to Team Leader/Production Manager.
• Produce quality products in required quantity, on time and at lowest cost.
• Demonstrate willingness to training and personal development.
• Monitor process performance to maximize output.
• Carry out quality control checks and complete production paperwork.
• Work as a team to meet departmental and customer deadlines.
• Picking and packing Sales Orders in Stores Dept.
• Selecting parts and tubes for hose assembly and packaging for export.
• Issue parts on Transform orders to internal departments.
• Weekly stocktake of parts and tubes in Stores.
• Retrieve tube using VNA articulated forklift, use counterbalance forklift in cold stores.
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe, tidy department.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Stores Operator (Rotating Shifts) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with the Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies, reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to your direct Team Leader or Production Manager including but not limited to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• To ensure quality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, and at the lowest possible cost, in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development.
• Monitor the performance of the process ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times.
• Carry out and document the correct quality control checks for each job performed, completing all production paperwork.
• Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking and packing Sales Orders in the Stores Dept.
• Picking parts and tube from locations in stores to be built into Hoses by the Assembly department
• Packing parts and tube for export to our distributors and self-assemblers around the world
• Issuing parts and tube on Transform orders to other internal departments
• Weekly stocktake of parts and tube in Stores
• Retrieving tube from racking using VNA articulated Fork Lift Trucks
• Use of Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck in the Cold Stores and yard
• Housekeeping, keeping the department safe, tidy and presentable
