Job summary

Samworth Brothers is recruiting for a stores/warehousing role at The Cornwall Bakery in the South West. You will be responsible for safe, accurate material handling, stock control, and ensuring goods are ready for production and delivery to the site or bakery.

A driving licence and forklift competence are essential for the role. The role offers a stable, full-time position within a family-owned, diverse business with a strong local footprint and opportunities for progression within the Samworth

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and stock control preferred.
• Ability to operate Fork Lift Trucks is essential.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transition of materials to site, their storage and delivery to the point of use or transfer to the bakery.
• Stores operators maintain training in all of the functions, PGR (Process Goods Receipting) including Stock Receipting, locating, and picking), locating of stock to the defined standards and procedures, stock Replenishment as required, whilst maintaining area standards.
• They drive Fork Lift Trucks, driving licence is essential for the role.
