Job summary

apetito UK is recruiting for a warehouse operative to unload, inspect and store raw materials and to support production with timely material movement.

You will use SAP WM for loading, weighing and routing stock, ensuring accurate batch codes and weights, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be methodical and have a good standard in Mathematics.
• Experience with SAP Warehousing/Scanners is desirable.
• Reach Truck, Counter balance and PPT licenses desirable (training can be provided).
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and SAP Warehousing/scanners is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Unload, QA check, and put away raw materials using SAP WM.
• Pick and replenish raw materials into production PSA using SAP WM.
• Dispatch finished goods ensuring balanced loads and pallet weights.
• Maintain yard and external storage areas.
• Be able to work in other Low Care areas as required.
• Ensure products are picked to correct weight and batch codes.
• Assist QA/QC with traceability and blocked stock issues.
• Report any quality concerns to area supervisor.
• Work safely and follow safe working practices.
• Assist with risk assessments and report accidents or incidents.

Job description

The Stores department is keen to promote excellent team work by employing people who have a positive attitude. By achieving this, the department is in the best position to supply the meals department in an efficient manner. We aim to not only achieve our targets but improve on them as well.

This position is 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 0600-1400/1400-2200

£15.93 per hour + Bonus + Benefits

• To unload, QA check, and put away raw materials using SAP WM.

• It is also expected that an operator in this area would be able to work in other areas in the Low Care area as required.
• Products must be picked to the correct weight and batch codes supplied.
• To assist QA/QC with any traceability and blocked stock issues.
• Inform the person running the area if you think there is a potential issue with the quality of the product.
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Follow safe working practices.
• Assist if required with risk assessments.
• Report any accidents or dangerous occurrences.

Essential

• Knowledge of how to use a Computer system.
• Must be methodical in working as well as a good standard in Mathematics.

Desirable

• Reach Truck, Counter balance and PPT vehicle licenses.(training can be provided).
• Knowledge of warehouse systems as well as SAP Warehousing/scanners.

Essential

• A good people skill as the Team interacts with many internal and external customers.
• A Team player.

Desirable

• Previous experience with the interaction with people from a previous back ground.
• Proven ability of working within a Team.
