Permanent opportunity for a Stores operator to join a global Manufacturing organisation based in the Huddersfield area. Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.

Stores operator : (The Role)

• Responsible for managing material storage, stocktaking, and issuing from the department’s storage area.
• Performing material cutting for manufacturing in the company’s machine shop.
• Conducting inventory checks of materials in the warehouse.
• Handling material receipt and identification processes .

Stores operator : (The ideal Candidate will have)

• Engineering Background preferred
• Must have the ability to read engineering drawings.
• Have understanding of both imperial and metric measurement systems.
• Experience working with Stainless Steels & Other Metals
• Read Engineering Drawings

Stores operator : Salary & Package

• £12.25 per hour
• Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
