Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods is hiring for a Stores operative role in the Preston area. You will count stock daily, manage replenishment, and assist with issuing ingredients and packaging while maintaining high standards of food safety and stock accuracy.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with weekly pay, overtime pay, and a generous benefits package including pension, share scheme, and retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (stores operative, stores person, warehouse operative, intake operative).
• Strong awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
• Attention to detail required.
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Count stock daily and ensure stocks are maintained with accuracy.
• Inform Stores Supervisor of replenishment needs and issues.
• Assist with the issue and return of ingredients and packaging as per policy.
• Maintain store security and keep stores areas clean and tidy.
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensure correct labelling and documentation on packaging and ingredients.
