Salary: £12.50 to £13.50 per hour

Job Description

Keep production flowing by joining Penta Precision as a Stores Operative! We are seeking an organized and proactive professional with a keen eye for detail to maintain efficient stock control, ensure timely deliveries, and support smooth operations.

Your Role

As a Stores Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Goods In: Book in materials and deliveries, store correctly, and keep a well-organized workspace.
  • Goods Out: Pack components, prepare delivery documentation, and coordinate collections.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate records, perform stock checks, and store raw materials, finished goods, fixtures, tooling, and consumables properly.
  • Driving & Logistics: Support deliveries and collections using company vehicles, planning safe trips.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in meetings, suggest improvements, and engage in cross-training.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Valid UK driving license (essential).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage stock and records.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred or willingness to train.
  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude.
