Job summary

ABM at London Heathrow Airport is seeking a Stores Operative / Driver to help manage stock levels in a busy airport warehouse. The role combines stores duties with driving responsibilities and requires obtaining an airside pass.

You will replenish and circulate stock, process orders, and keep accurate records. The role involves some manual handling and shift work (5 on, 2 off, 40 hours a week). A full driving licence is needed, and ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintaining; 'Loitering and transporting stock levels in a busy airport warehouse

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Your main aim will be to ensure that par levels of stock meet customer requirements, replenishing and re-cycling items as necessary and processing orders using agreed procedures. Stock items include a range of aircraft consumables and laundry items such as blankets, headrest covers and headsets.

You'll also clean and check storage units and equipment, ensure that equipment and materials are removed from vehicles when required and ensure accurate records are kept of usage and availability. You should also note that the role will involve some manual handling activities - e.g., lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and driving.

***Please note that obtaining an airside pass is an essential requirement of this role. As part of this process, the successful candidate will be required to complete a full five-year background check, including a criminal record check.***
