Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting a Stores Operative in Tewkesbury. This full-time 39-hour permanent role offers £12.75-£13.50 per hour and a stable career path in a growing manufacturing business.

You will manage goods in/out, maintain stock records, and support day-to-day stores operations. Forklift experience is desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate, with IT stock systems and attention to detail valued.

• Strong goods in, goods out, and stock control knowledge.
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods in and goods out processes.
• Operate a forklift truck safely (training available).
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Carry out stock checks and support stock takes.
• Code, track, and issue materials accurately.
• Support dispatch activities and goods collections.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep the area tidy.
• Assist with general warehouse operations as required.

Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a growing and well-invested manufacturing business in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or stores professional looking to join a busy team with long-term career prospects. You'll be responsible for managing goods in and goods out, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the stores department. Forklift experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
