Qualifications

  • Operate forklift truck as required.

Role Summary

As a Stores Operative, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution of parts and components in compliance with business needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support inventory control in Central Stores for dispatching
  • Manage parts or products, including goods in
  • Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
  • Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
  • Assist purchasing department with receipt and return of supplies
  • Ensure all tools/equipment are signed out and returned as required
  • Check delivery notes for accuracy
  • Maintain accuracy of paperwork and SAGE information
  • Track, monitor, and organize stock levels as required by workshop or site demand
  • Identify and implement solutions or improvements
  • Operate forklift truck as required
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 12 months relevant stores/warehousing experience
  • Production/manufacturing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
