Speedy Hire Plc in Glasgow is seeking a Stores Operative to join our team on a Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00, 40 hours per week. Based in the depot, you will maintain store levels to support workshop demands, raise and process purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers.

This role offers flexible hours and a strong work/life balance through our flexible working initiatives. Applicants should have strong computing skills (Microsoft Office), clear communication, ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Previous stores or mechanical engineering experience is preferred.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Stores Operative - Glasgow - Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 16:00 - 40 Hours

Based in the depot, the Stores Operative is responsible for maintaining our stores to the correct level at all times to support the workshop demands for equipment. You will be responsible for raising and processing purchase orders, handling invoice queries, liaising with suppliers as required and keeping the stores area clean.

What you'll need:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Clear written and oral communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Previous stores or mechanical engineering experience is preferred
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
