• Ensure effective store management and supplies.

HMP Bristol, 19 Cambridge Rd, Bishopston, Bristol. BS7 8PS

Salary:

£27,945.35 per annum

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent, 39 hrs per week, Mon to Fri

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Bristol, a Category B Adult Male prison. Join a supportive team working Monday to Friday to create a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Bristol operates like a self-contained city, with a Facilities Maintenance Team committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

Your Role:

As a Stores Operative, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to maintaining safety and security.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fork Lift Truck Certificate
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Full driving license, preferably with D1
• HGV Licence
• Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
