Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a Stores and Logistics Operative to support our Leeds branch and travel to site locations across the UK. You will manage stock, maintain equipment and assist logistics for multiple projects, with a full UK driving licence essential.

The role is full-time and branch-based with UK-wide travel. You will contribute to safe, organised warehousing and compliance, working within our Health and Safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license essential.
• Experience in Health and Safety-driven environment.
• Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels within the warehouse, ensuring materials and equipment are organised effectively.
• Carry out inspection, maintenance and cleaning of work equipment and PPE.
• Collect work equipment and materials from suppliers as required.
• Deliver and collect work equipment from site locations across the UK.
• Support operational teams by ensuring equipment is available, compliant and ready for use.
• Maintain accurate records relating to stock, equipment and logistics activities.
• Ensure all warehouse and storage areas remain clean, safe and well organised.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Support wider site teams with additional operational tasks where required.
• Travel to site locations across the UK, including occasional overnight stays when necessary.

Role Overview

As a Stores and Logistics Operative, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Leeds branch through effective stock management, equipment maintenance and logistics support. This is a full-time, predominantly branch-based role with travel required to site locations across the UK as needed. You will play an important role ensuring equipment, materials and supplies are maintained, organised and delivered efficiently to support operational teams across multiple projects. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What You’ll Deliver

About You

You will be a reliable and organised Stores and Logistics Operative with strong practical skills and a proactive approach to supporting operational teams. You will be comfortable working within a Health and Safety-focused environment and capable of managing a varied workload across warehouse and logistics activities.

• Full UK driving license essential
• Experience working within a Health and Safety-driven environment
• Previous experience within a stores, warehouse or logistics role preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to travel across the UK and undertake overnight stays where required
• Ability to support wider operational teams with additional tasks when needed
