Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a reliable Stores Coordinator to join our client's team in Telford on a temp-to-perm basis. The role combines stores duties, order picking, PO administration and front counter service, with the candidate engaging directly with tradespeople to meet their needs.

Starting pay from £12.71 per hour, with full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 08:30‑17:00, ASAP start. A UK driving licence and forklift counterbalance licence are advantageous, and there is an opportunity for

Qualifications

• Presentable and professional in customer interactions.
• Experience in stores/stock control and goods in/out.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive a 3.5‑tonne van.
• Willing to learn about products and develop sales knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage stores duties and keep stock organised.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Raise and process purchase orders (POs).
• Provide front desk support and serve customers at the counter.
• Assist tradespeople with product enquiries and recommendations.
• Learn products to confidently advise customers and support sales.
• Assist with deliveries/collections, including van driving.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
