Pilgrim's Europe in Spalding is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader - Stores to own the Engineering Stores operation, ensuring engineers have the right parts, materials and services to support a world-class manufacturing environment.

This role combines stores leadership, stock control, purchasing, budget management and engineering administration, ideal for a proactive, organised individual who thrives on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering stores, inventory, or maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of stock control, purchasing and budgets.
• Experience with SAP, Holistech or similar CMMS.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Stores function.
• Manage stock levels, purchasing activities, and inventory accuracy.
• Control and report engineering spend against budgets.
• Ensure parts, consumables and services are ordered through SAP.
• Maintain accurate stock records in Holistech and site systems.
• Coordinate stock counts and KPI targets.
• Receive, check and process deliveries to spec and quality.
• Support reliability by ensuring parts are available for maintenance.
• Monitor and report Stores KPIs such as stock accuracy and OTIF.
• Drive 5S and continuous improvement in stores.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies via root cause analysis.
• Provide administrative support to Engineering and site objectives.
