Job summary

Teledyne Reynolds Engineering in Newbury, Berkshire, is seeking a Stores Coordinator to ensure efficient goods receipt, stock control and order fulfilment within a busy production environment.

You will inspect incoming goods, match deliveries to orders, update stock records, pack and despatch goods, and support purchasing with attention to detail and strong teamwork. Manufacturing experience and basic MS Office skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspection of incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare route cards and check goods against delivery notes.
• Update goods receipt records and pass paperwork to relevant departments.
• Liaise with Purchasing and Quality teams for incorrect parts.
• Maintain accurate stock quantities on physical and computer records.
• Store goods in line with HSE, supplier and site requirements.
• Select items for pick lists to fulfil Sales deliveries.
• Pack orders for safe despatch and include required documentation.

Job Description

At our Manufacturing facility in Newbury, Berkshire, the Teledyne Reynolds Engineering team design custom Interconnect Solutions to carry signals from High Voltage Power Supplies to some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and even beyond. Our Engineering team and Production Operators have been directly involved in designing, building, and getting hand’s on with products that are now roaming the surface of Mars, orbiting the Sun and about to be launched to land on an asteroid.

We're looking for a Stores Coordinator to support the running of an efficient Stores department, completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner, supporting a busy Production and Operations department.

Detailed Description:

• Assist in the inspection of incoming goods in accordance with the relevant inspection procedure ensuring parts meets the purchase order criteria.

• Kit production route cards.

• Check goods received against supplier’s delivery note and purchase orders informing the Stores Co-ordinator or Purchasing Department of any variations.

• Enter delivery into goods receipt computer record, passing paperwork to relevant department and deliver goods to appropriate stores location.

• In the case of incorrectly supplied parts, liaise with the Purchasing and Quality teams.

• Ensure physical and computer recorded stock quantities are the same.

• Ensure goods are stored in accordance with Health and Safety, suppliers, and site requirements.

• Select correct items to the pick list to fulfil delivery notes raised by Sales in a timely manner.

• Pack orders to be despatched in an appropriate manner to ensure safe arrival at our customers.

• Ensure that all appropriate documentation is sent with the goods.

• Ensure stores and goods in areas are kept clean and tidy.

• Prepare wire and cable in line with Production requirements

• Test and final inspection of goods prior to despatch

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable

• Basic understanding Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
