Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for Stores Controllers / Progress chasers for our client based in Loughborough. These are key roles for the business so previous experience in a similar role is essential.

These roles are sometimes referred to as 'Water Spiders' or 'Progress Chasers'. You will be responsible for ensuring materials, components, and assemblies move efficiently through the manufacturing process and arrive at the relevant location in time for production.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the correct locations in accordance with the production schedule.
• Maintain clear identification and traceability of parts
• Proactively locate missing components and investigate material shortages.
• Escalate issues that may impact production
• Liaise with all manufacturing departments and stake holders
• Identify bottlenecks that may affect production progress.
• Communicate realistic timelines for component availability and delivery to production areas.

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a number of Stores Controllers / Progress chasers for our client based in Loughborough.

These are key roles for the business so previous experience in a similar role is essential. These roles are sometimes referred to as 'Water Spiders' or 'Progress Chasers'.

You will be responsible for ensuring materials, components, and assemblies move efficiently through the manufacturing process and arrive at the relevant location in time for production.

You specifically act as a link between the various manufacturing departments and will be responsible for chasing suppliers, customers and stake holders to ensure that the stores operation runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

This is working 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 12:30 finish on Friday.

You can expect to earn £14.00 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience. To earn the higher hourly rate, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job role.
