DS Smith Plc in Lockerbie is seeking a Stores Coordinator to manage engineering spare parts stock, orders, goods receipting and stock control within the Engineering Stores. You will ensure timely deliveries, accurate stock levels and robust reporting, supporting the engineering team.

Experience in a stores or engineering environment and strong Excel/Office skills are essential; SAP knowledge is desirable and training can be provided.

• Understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring spare parts are ordered on time and in full.
• Ensuring deliveries are correct to the order, undamaged and to specification.
• Manage stock within Engineering Stores and allocate costs to location.
• Allocate spare parts for scheduled Engineering work.
• Stock checking and recording.
• Develop and manage stock check programs to keep levels accurate and aged stock controlled.

Stores Coordinator

As the Stores Coordinator for our packaging site in Lockerbie, within our Engineering Department, you will manage the engineering stock holding (spare parts) including ordering, goods receipting, and issuing of stock and non-stock items as well as overall stock control and reporting.

Your Main Duties Will Include

• Ensuring spare parts are ordered on time and in full.
• Ensuring all deliveries are correct to the order, free from damage, and to the correct specification
• Ensure that the management of stock within the Engineering Stores is controlled and that all costs are tracked and allocated to the correct location.
• Allocation of spare parts required for scheduled Engineering work.
• Stock checking and recording.
• Develop, maintain, and manage rolling stock check programs ensuring stock levels are accurate, minimum, and maximum stock levels are appropriate and that aged stock is managed.

About You

• Demonstratable experience in a stores / engineering environment
• SAP (Computer management system) knowledge (desirable but not essential, training can be provided)
• Understanding of manufacturing environment.
• Good organisation, analytical, communication, time management and process improvement skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
