About the job and your team

Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will will control all non-metal purchasing, receiving and maintenance of non-metal warehouse inventories. The Stores Person will support Site processes by maintaining supplies of all non-metal consumables required during the operation as well as working with the maintenance dept. to maintain supplies of critical spare parts.

You will work on
  • Comparing products, suppliers, pricing and logistics
  • Producing accurate purchase orders
  • Complete the goods receipt process to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Working with accounts payable group to ensure timely, efficient payments process
  • Ensuring multi-user warehouse is maintained in good order and meets 5s standards
  • Maintaining accurate inventories based on regular cycle counts
  • Work closely with maintenance and production departments to ensure supplies are maintained
  • Regularly review systems to ensure that processes are functioning properly
  • Taking initiative to improve current systems
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as technicians engineers and stores.
  • Keep up to date with innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business.
  • Liaise with external contractors to ensure RAMS are obtained for any work to be carried out on site
  • Adapt current manual inputting of data towards a computerized maintenance management software and or ERP
