Job Summary:
A key stock and equipment management role within an MOD site. Accounting for all equipment on site and producing relevant reports and assurance.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job Description:
Asset Management and Accounting:
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and document any asset adjustments or extraordinary accounting events, ensuring compliance with current policies. Ensure all accounts are managed in accordance with current policies.
Stores Account System Management (MJDI):- Effectively manage stock arrivals and dispatch in conjunction with colleagues.
- Add and remove system access for organisation personnel as per current regulations.
COGNOS Reports And Business Continuity:- Ensure the unit maintains COGNOS Core Report Workbooks in an acceptable format (hardcopy or memory stick) and exports them to Excel weekly/monthly.
Stores System Configuration And Inventory Management:- Ensure configuration aligns with current policies and authorise any deviations.
- Utilise scale factors effectively to manage inventory.
- Manage Local and Global stock reference numbers in accordance with current policies.
- Understand and manage all alerts and outputs promptly and in accordance with current policies.
- Manage shelf life, serialised, and batch items per current regulations.
Equipment Table (ET) Management:- Collaborate with colleagues to effectively manage the Organisation Equipment Table (ET).
Person Specification:The successful candidate will be required to be highly organised and logical. The successful candidate must be able to prioritise a significant workload against competing deadlines.

Working Arrangements:Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in the office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments.
