Job summary

Precision People is sourcing a Stores Operative based in Wellingborough. The role involves receiving deliveries, sorting stock, picking items for production and maintaining accurate inventory.

You will help keep the stores area safe, organized and efficient, with overtime available at an enhanced rate. Applicants should have previous warehouse/store experience, Counterbalance and Flexi forklift qualifications, strong organizational and teamwork skills, and a keen eye for detail in POD

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift Truck experience.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage stock effectively.
• Experience dealing with POD documentation.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Paying: Up to £15.50

Hours of work: 08:00-16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 - 12:00 Friday

The role is based in Wellingborough and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas.

The Role: Stores Operative

• Taking goods in and checking deliveries
• Sorting products and allocating stock to the correct store locations
• Picking parts and materials for the production team
• Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Wrapping, packing and itemising parts for subcontractors
• Ensuring the stores area is organised, safe and operating efficiently

Minimum Skills & Experience Required: Stores Operative

• Previous experience working in a stores or warehouse environment
• Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift Truck experience
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage stock effectively
• Experience dealing with Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
