Job description

Role: Storekeeper REF 367143
Contract Length: Until December 2025 - likely to extend beyond initial 6 months
Location: Exeter
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £16.82 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a Storekeeper for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STOREKEEPER

• Handling deliveries, receiving, unpacking deliveries
• Logging stock levels on to the system
• Working on the counter and booking out items/stock to police officers

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE STOREKEEPER

• A stores or logistics related qualification would be advantageous or a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualification
• Proven ability to work effectively and fluidly within the stores operation
• Experience in working within a multi-stores environment
• A user knowledge of stock control systems
• Proven ability of using MS Office
• Experience in operating warehouse equipment
• A customer service focused approach
• Ability to work to deadlines
