Job summary

Morrisons in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trading Manager to lead store-wide trading routines, ensuring product availability and successful promotions. You’ll help deliver a seamless shopping experience with attention to shelves, pricing, and promotions across departments.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll lead the team, manage shifts, develop talent, and drive performance while keeping operations safe, compliant, and on target to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first: Lead your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions and acting on customer feedback to keep standards high.
• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to work flexibly across departments.
• Drive performance and availability: Lead a supportive, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
