Job Title: Store Team Member - Cleaner

Are you ready to play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining our store's highest standards of cleanliness? Home Bargains is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members with cleaning responsibilities.

We offer various shift patterns, starting as early as 5 am to set up the store or finishing as late as 11 pm to close the store and prepare for the next day. The available contract is 16 hours per week, including weekends.

Job Overview

As a Store Team Member - Cleaner, you will greet customers, assist with product queries, and maintain store cleanliness using equipment like a Hako floor scrubbing machine. You will also undertake general store duties to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Operate cleaning machinery to maintain clean floors
• Sanitise staff areas, bathrooms, and communal spaces
• Dust and tidy shelves, displays, and counters
• Restock shelves and replenish merchandise
• Collaborate with team members on maintenance and cleanliness issues
• Maintain store standards and undertake additional cleaning duties as needed

Minimum Criteria to Apply

• Experience in cleaning or fast-paced environments is advantageous but not essential
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Polite, professional, and courteous demeanor
• Flexibility to work early and late shifts
• Eagerness to contribute to the store's success
