Home Bargains is seeking Store Team Members with a primary focus on cleaning and hygiene standards across the store. You will also perform other Store Team Member duties to support the business, including serving customers, operating tills, replenishing stock and helping with deliveries.

Previous cleaning experience helps but is not essential as full training is provided. The role requires availability for shifts from early morning to late evening, with part-time 20 hours per week at competitive

Home Bargains is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members with a primary focus on maintaining excellent cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the store. additional responsibilities in cleaning duties. As a Store Team Member - Cleaner, your main responsibilities will involve keeping our shop floor, staff facilities and other areas clean, safe and welcoming for customers and colleagues. Although this position is primarily focused on cleaning, you will be employed as a Store Team Member. This means you will also be expected to carry out other Store Team Member duties as and when required to support the needs of the business. These may include serving customers, operating tills, replenishing stock, working deliveries and helping maintain store standards., Cleaning & Store Standards

Previous cleaning experience or experience working in a fast-paced retail environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Package

Salary & Hours

• + £12.71 per hour (18-20), £13.00 per hour (21+)
• + The above pay includes a non-contractual and non-transferable Regional Allowance (£1.00 per hour)
• + 20 hours per week. Must be available to work between the hours of 5pm - 9pm

Job Overview

We are looking for someone who is happy to be flexible, work as part of the wider store team and lend a hand wherever needed.

Supporting the Wider Store Team

• Welcome customers and assist with queries, providing friendly and helpful customer service.
• Support with replenishing stock, working deliveries and maintaining product displays.
• Assist with till operations and other shop floor activities when required.
• Work alongside colleagues to ensure the store runs smoothly, particularly during busy periods.
• Undertake the full range of Store Team Member duties as reasonably required to support the operational needs of the store.
  Be aged 18 or over, in line with the company's health and safety requirements for the cleaning duties and operation of machinery associated with this role, including the Hako floor scrubbing machine.
• Be reliable, punctual and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Be willing and able to undertake cleaning duties, including operating cleaning machinery following appropriate training.
• Be flexible and willing to support with other Store Team Member duties as and when required.
• Be available to work the shift patterns required by the store, which may include early starts from 5am or late finishes up to 10pm.
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Be polite, professional and committed to providing excellent customer service.
