Job summary

Home Bargains in Northampton is seeking a Store Team Member to help deliver outstanding customer service, stock shelves, and support the team across multiple areas of the store. You will assist with queries, manage tills, and help keep our Café, Bakery, and Garden Centre areas running smoothly.

You will join a friendly team, with shifts including early mornings and weekends. The role offers part-time hours and opportunities to learn new skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Home Bargains, delivering enthusiastic customer service and assisting with product queries.
• Stock shelves, restock and maintain clean, welcoming displays across the store.
• Take charge during fill shifts by unloading deliveries and getting stock out for customers.
• Handle tills and cash transactions, supporting across multiple departments as required.
• Adapt to roles in Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre as needed.

Job description

Be the smile that makes a difference: As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, providing enthusiastic customer service by assisting with product queries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Teamwork makes the dream work: Whether you're watering plants, baking fresh goods, stocking shelves, or keeping displays and workspaces clean, you'll support your team to maintain high standards across the store.

Keep the momentum going: Take charge during the fill shift by unloading deliveries and swiftly getting stock out on the shelves, making sure everything's ready for our customers to find what they need.

No two days are the same: You will be trained across multiple areas of the business. Your versatility will shine as you handle tills, manage cash transactions, restock shelves, and adapt to various roles in the Café, Bakery, or Garden Centre.

Package Description

Salary & Hours

• £12.71 per hour (18-20), £13.00 per hour (21+)
• Available contracted hours 12 hours per week
• Applicants must be available to work 6am-10am
