Home Bargains is seeking a Store Team Member to be the friendly face of the store in Newbury, delivering excellent customer service and helping customers find products quickly. You will rotate across departments, stock shelves, and maintain high standards across the store.

Roles require enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn as you cover tills, assist with cash handling, and support in Cafe, Bakery, or Garden Centre areas when needed. Weekend availability is essential.

As a Store Team Member, you will be at the heart of it all, greeting customers, replenishing shelves, and working across different departments from fresh food to seasonal while always delivering fantastic standards.

Retail here is fast-paced and hands‑on, with no two days the same. Because our stores are open from 6 am to 10 pm daily, we ask for some flexibility with evenings and weekends — but don’t worry, we work hard to balance shifts fairly so everyone gets the time off they need.

Every role is part of something bigger, connecting with people and working together as a team.

Package

Salary & Hours

13.71 per hour (18-20), £14.00 per hour (21+).

• The above pay includes a non-contractual and non-transferable Regional Allowance (£1.00 per hour)

8 hours per week. Must be available to work weekends only
