Working Hours:
Monday & Tuesday: 6:45am - 4:45pm
Friday: 7:45am - 1:00pm
Reporting to: Stores/Warehouse Manager
Working with: Supply Chain & Logistics Team
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods and materials, supporting the operational and customer demands of the business. You will also assist with transportation of goods between sites.
Full training will be provided on internal systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive goods and supplies, including unloading deliveries and recording traceability.
Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy.
Check for damaged or missing items.
Appropriately store goods in the correct locations.
Move stock manually or using lifting equipment/Forklift (if licensed).
Deliver materials to production lines per schedule.
Maintain accurate stock records and data input in inventory systems.
Carry out regular stock counts and update related paperwork.
Process returns and ensure accurate documentation.
Handle all products according to manual handling and health & safety guidelines.
Transport stock and goods between different sites.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Assist in resolving supplier quality issues and handling non-conforming products.
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role (Warehouse, Stores, Dispatch).
Valid HGV Class 2 License.
High level of numeracy and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience using ERP systems or similar inventory software.
Attention to detail in data entry and paperwork.
Willingness to work additional hours when required.
Preferred:
Valid Forklift Licence (FLT) and experience operating in a warehouse.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
