Job Description:

MONCLER is looking for a Store Operations Manager to join one of our Department Stores in London.

The Store Operations Manager, as custodian of the store’s assets, is accountable for leading all business support activities and processes, ensuring effective and timely execution.

The Store Operations Manager manages and coaches a dedicated team with energy and professionalism, enabling the sales team to maximize store performance and provide excellent client service. At Moncler, they recruit, manage, lead, and support the development of the sales and back-of-house teams while working directly with their Store Manager to strategically drive their business.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Drive operational excellence by being accountable for the efficiency and accuracy of day-to-day Back of House procedures and processes;
  • Guarantee proper organization and accessibility of merchandise in the Stock Room according to Moncler’s directives and procedures;
  • Plan, undertake, and be accountable for all aspects of inventory operations, monitoring loss prevention and inventory discrepancies;
  • Ensure the implementation and execution of after-sales service procedures striving for excellent results;
  • Be the point of contact regarding transfers in and out;
  • Have full ownership of cash/card handling and client data procedures; ensure correct data collection to strengthen relationships with clients;
  • Collect all data needed to understand operations policies and procedures, preparing to train colleagues and new hires;
  • Proactively recruit, interview, and hire a team that will drive store sales and deliver an elevated level of service while building customer loyalty and developing new customers;
  • Drive store sales and productivity through key KPI management (store sales, UPT, Conversion, Productivity, and Inventory);
  • Develop the team to ensure individual growth, employee engagement, and career pathing for future leaders using consistent communication such as one-to-one meetings, team meetings, management meetings, and individual development plans.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in managerial roles within structured Fashion Luxury/Retail Companies (international companies preferred);
  • Proven experience in staff recruitment and development;
  • Excellent client service, sales generation, and stock management skills;
  • Fluency and sophistication in English; proficiency in another language is a plus;
  • Digitally aware with deep knowledge of MS Office and proven experience with clienteling, payments, and warehouse management systems and tools.
