A growing self-storage company in Northern Ireland is seeking a Store Manager/Trainee Store Manager. Candidates will manage store operations, drive sales performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has experience in a customer-facing role and a proactive attitude. Store Manager/Trainee Store Manager
Location:Mallusk & Lisburn
Company: The Self Storage Centre
Salary:£30,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm)
Additional:One Saturday per month providing remote phone support from home (9am – 2pm)

The Industry
The self-storage industry is a dynamic and rapidly growing sector, offering secure, flexible storage solutions for individuals and businesses alike. The industry has seen significant expansion, with facilities ranging from small lockers to large units catering to diverse needs, such as personal belongings or business inventory especially in the E-Commerce market and as a hub for last mile logistics. The self-storage market is projected to continue its growth trajectory, making it an exciting and stable field to build a career in.
Our Company
Currently we have two trading stores, one in Lisburn and one in Mallusk. We have exciting plans to open another four stores over the next two years and become a major player in the market with a presence throughout Ireland – two of these stores, Naas and Drogheda, shall be opening early 2026.
The Role
We are a small tight knit team and as part of our team, you’ll help deliver excellent customer experiences, drive sales performance, and maximise store success. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving, growing industry, supported every step of the way.
We love a bit of get up and go, so don’t be afraid of getting stuck into your work and gain insights into a fast-growing sector with passion and enthusiasm. Your main role is to help manage all aspects of running a store to grow and develop the business.
