What you’ll be doing:

Our Supermarket Store Managers lead large, complex operations. They are responsible for the success of a store and ensuring we deliver on our purpose to make good food joyful, accessible, and affordable for everyone, every day. Our operations consist of hundreds of colleagues and a management team that our Store Managers lead to ensure excellent service standards and fulfillment of our commitments to customers. Retail is constantly evolving with new initiatives and change programmes, requiring tough decision-making. It’s a role with significant responsibility but also highly rewarding.

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and continuously improve the customer journey.
  • Have extensive experience leading operations with accountability for customer, financial, and organizational outcomes.
  • Be a role model in delivering excellent service and embodying business values through teams of managers and colleagues.
  • Utilize data and insights for strategic planning, performance improvement, and enhancing customer experience and KPIs.
  • Manage complex ER cases confidently, including dismissals, and understand HR policies.
