As a McGee’s Retail Store Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of daily store operations.

The Role

You’ll directly impact the financial performance of the store through managing sales, delivering on targets, and providing excellent customer service.

You will showcase effective management, inspire your team, coach and mentor to achieve company targets, and demonstrate your passion to drive sales and face business challenges to achieve standards of excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Make the shop your own, know McGee’s products in depth, and manage all day-to-day store activities, ensuring an attractive store appearance.
• Drive Customer Engagement to ensure positive customer experiences and strengthen loyalty.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with legislation.
• Motivate your team to achieve weekly KPIs and targets.
• Liaise with your Regional Manager on store performance and continuous improvement.
• Foster positive working relationships by treating your team, colleagues, and managers with respect and dignity.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least two years of Retail Management Experience, preferably in Fresh Foods.
• Passionate about retail, sales, and profit maximization with waste minimization.
• Professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Engaging, inspiring, and focused.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Knowledgeable about retail environment and best practices.
• Polite, efficient, friendly, with good customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and performance-manage a team.
• Familiar with company culture, values, and ethos.
• Ability to evaluate information and plan accordingly.
• IT literate, especially with Excel.
