The Store Manager oversees daily operations, drives sales performance, manages a team of motivated employees, and ensures exceptional customer service to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively run all store operations to meet or exceed sales & KPI targets, set sales goals, track performance, and evolve processes for continuous growth.
- Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
- Build a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and development, fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports to make informed decisions, identifying opportunities operationally & commercially.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and surpass sales targets.
- Attract, engage, and motivate customers using visual merchandising techniques, ensuring displays are attractive and brand-aligned.
- Ensure teams deliver high service levels to achieve a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Drive customer loyalty programs and promotions to increase engagement.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor and control store expenses within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Role objectives and KPIs:
- Contribute to achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Drive KPIs including Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
- Achieve upselling and cross-selling targets.
- Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
- Ensure stock accuracy during audits.
- Complete mandatory training for all new colleagues.
- Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores meeting or exceeding benchmarks.
- Keep operational costs within the allocated budget.
Skills and Experience:
- Management experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
- Passion for retail with knowledge of latest trends and competitors.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and team development.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record in managing and exceeding sales and KPI targets.
- Experience in analyzing reports and making commercial decisions.
- Attention to detail and commercial awareness; visual merchandising experience is advantageous.
