Job Type: Permanent

Store Location: North/East London

Hours: 38.75 hours per week

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum DOE, 25% colleague discount, 28-days annual leave pro rata

THE JOB

Are you passionate about customer service? Keen to continue your career with the largest UK Health and Wellness Retailer?

As a Designate Store Manager, you'll be an excellent leader, managing the day-to-day operations of stores across North/East London and serving as a brand ambassador for Holland & Barrett. You'll lead high-performing teams, providing coaching and training, motivating staff to succeed, and setting clear expectations.

You will start your journey as a 'Relief' or 'Cover Manager', working alongside your Regional Manager to support stores across North/East London, before finding the right store for you. You will act as a role model for world-class customer service, drive financial performance through sales targets, maintain stock accuracy, develop store promotional plans, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.

To become a Health & Wellness specialist, you'll undertake a training programme that includes our "Qualified to Advise" and "Healthy Expert" qualifications, accredited by our awarding body to Level 2 and Level 3.

THE PERSON

To be successful, we'd like you to demonstrate:

  • Previous retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment
  • The ability to understand and analyse sales figures daily to enable the store to trade within company parameters and goals
  • Passion and enthusiasm for our products
  • The ability to complete regular computer-based training to ensure exceptional product knowledge
  • The ability to be agile and flexible to multi-task and achieve the best results
