Store Manager Designate in South London

What you'll do

Support our South London region, including Brixton, Balham, Dulwich, Wandsworth, and Putney, as a Store Manager Designate, working 40 hours per week.

You’ll gain experience across different stores, requiring flexibility to move where support is needed, embodying a hands-on team player role to build management skills in a multi-site environment.

This role involves delivering excellent customer service, managing the branch, assisting customers, checking deliveries, picking items, stocking shelves, and maintaining store standards. It’s a dynamic environment with seasonal temperature variations, perfect for those who take pride in leading and motivating teams.

Opportunities include pursuing a Level 5 apprenticeship and management development courses to enhance your skills.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service, ensuring a positive customer experience and driving sales.
  • Assist with deliveries, opening/closing the branch, stock management, and cleanliness.
  • Inspire your team, fostering a culture of feedback, praise, and recognition.
  • Develop your team through coaching and relationship-building, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Lead by example, motivate, and create an engaging work environment.
