Job summary

BARNARDO'S in Worksop is seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead daily store operations, manage a team of colleagues, and maximise sales to support Barnardo's services for children and families across the UK.

The role requires experience in fashion retail, strong customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays. The post holder will be based at Unit B, 63 Newcastle Avenue, Worksop.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing a team in a customer service environment.
• Experience working in retail or fashion-related sales.
• Flexible with working hours including weekends and bank holidays.
• Ability to liaise with diverse people and generate sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and drive sales for target profits.
• Lead and train staff and volunteers; conduct appraisals and development.
• Implement promotions and maintain store presentation standards.
• Ensure adequate stock on the shop floor and stock-replenishment processes.
• Safeguard cash handling, security procedures, and store security.
