Your Role

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth running across all departments.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive workplace.
  • Maintain excellent stock management, merchandising standards, and product availability.
  • Ensure first-class customer service, with your team providing knowledgeable advice and a welcoming experience.
  • Support warehouse and goods-in processes to optimise stock flow.
  • Manage rotas and staffing to ensure the right coverage at all times.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the centre.
  • Work closely with Area Managers, driving performance and implementing strategic objectives.

Details:

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

  • Retail leadership experience - whether in supermarkets, DIY, or garden retail, you'll have a strong track record of managing people and driving sales.
  • A hands-on approach - leading by example and getting stuck in when needed.
  • Commercial awareness - able to hit targets and drive profitability.
  • Strong communication skills - capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
  • Organisation and attention to detail - ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
