Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a Store Manager for a new store opening. You will lead a premium, experience-led retail team, creating a storytelling-driven customer journey from day one. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service and brand presentation.

You will build a high-performing team, drive sales through customer relationships, and ensure the store reflects the founder's vision and distinctive identity.

We're partnering with an exciting founder-led brand to recruit a Store Manager for a new store opening. Built around a distinctive concept, the brand brings together high-quality, unique products, thoughtful storytelling and an exceptional customer experience.

We're looking for a retail leader who understands that great retail is about more than just selling products; it's about creating an experience, sharing the story behind the brand and building genuine connections with customers.

The Role

Customer Experience & Storytelling:

Bring the brand's vision to life through an engaging, personalised customer experience, connecting customers with the story, quality and individuality of the products.

Store Launch & Development:

Play a key role in the opening of a new store, helping to establish the culture, standards and customer experience from the very beginning.

Client Relationships:

Build meaningful relationships with customers, creating a welcoming environment that encourages loyalty, repeat visits and word-of-mouth recommendations.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, lead and develop a team who share a passion for the brand, its products and delivering an exceptional level of service.

Commercial Performance:

Drive sales and business growth through relationship-led selling, product knowledge and a genuine understanding of customer needs.

Brand Representation:

Ensure the store reflects the founder's vision, with thoughtful presentation, attention to detail and a strong sense of identity throughout the customer journey.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of the product range, its quality, craftsmanship and unique selling points, enabling the team to communicate its story with confidence.

Operational Excellence:

Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the store, balancing commercial performance with the high standards expected of a distinctive, experience-led retail concept.

Community & Engagement:

Help establish the store within its local community, creating a destination customers want to return to and recommend.

About You

You have experience leading a team within premium, luxury, lifestyle or experience-led retail.

You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and understand the importance of creating a genuine connection between the customer, the product and the brand.

You appreciate quality, individuality and the story behind a product, and can bring these elements to life through your approach to selling.

You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys engaging with customers and creating a welcoming, memorable environment.
