We are currently recruiting for:

Position: Store Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

What you will do

As Store Manager, a lot of responsibility will rest on your shoulders. You will lead the charge in every aspect of your store’s day-to-day operations and plans for future success, and you will be the one person ultimately accountable for setting the standard for amazing customer experiences, top-notch employee performance, and budget-beating sales.

This is a job for someone who loves people, cares about making the world a better place, and knows how to run a show. It requires strong leadership skills and the ability to build up the people around you. You will be a mentor, a leader, and an inspiration—and you will do it all while having a whole lot of fun. Your goal is to run not only a successful shop, but a shop that is awesome for your community, your customers, and your employees. You will have the opportunity to change people’s lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Financial Performance

  • Actively work on the sales floor interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store sales goals. By being one of the top salespeople in the store you will lead from the front in world-class customer service to deliver on all financial goals of the organization.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly financial review meetings as needed, and other meetings as necessary for the financial health of the business.

High Performance Staff

  • Organise , implement, and validate staff training. “Training” will include but not be limited to the sales process , merchandising, Daily Task List s, usage of the POS, Analytics reporting and analysis , and product training.
  • Validate training through a variety of methods including active role-playing, Trek University, secret shop reviews, and direct observation.
  • C onduct daily huddles and leadership meeting s with all the staff to review current performance a nd future planning .

Inventory, Store Merchandising and Operations

  • Determine and manage the range plan and inventory levels of the store, supported by your buying team.
  • Participate in the merchandising of the store to ensure professional, accessible, and inviting shopping experience. This includes , but is not limited to , sorting, straightening, fixture arrangement, and feature displays.
  • Monitoring store supplies and ordering/purchasing as needed.

Human Resources

  • Actively participate in all facets of human resources and staffing within the store. This includes interviewing potential employees, completing new-hire paperwork, scheduling, and disciplinary matters.

Miscellaneous Duties

  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • Top-notch communication skills
  • Impressive attention to detail and a love for figur ing out solutions to any problem.
  • Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles.
  • A desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies.
  • Work directly with Service Managers to develop quality bicycle builds and expectations.
  • Efficiently complete daily work schedules and tasks.
