Overview

Store Manager in Hamilton — 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Delivering an outstanding customer proposition. Manage the Branch, serve customers, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but lead and motivate a team to achieve great things so customers notice and value us.
  • Day-to-day
  • Delivering great service: ensure the team provides a great customer experience and delivers sales through service.
  • Mucking in: help the team get the job done, check and unpack deliveries, open and close the branch, stock shelves, clean the branch and put orders together.
  • Inspiring: encourage a positive mindset, build a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
  • Asking questions and building relationships: ensure the team gets development, support future business growth and succession, and make sure customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
  • Leading: coach, motivate and engage the team from the front to create a great place to work where engagement is key.
  • Building a fun working environment: maintain product availability and high branch standards, while ensuring the branch is somewhere everyone loves coming to work.
